Benjamin Thomas is an engineer, producer, and mixer from Philadelphia, PA. Graduating from Temple University in 2018 with a degree in Entrepreneurial Studies and Innovation Management, he has since made significant contributions to the Hip-Hop, R&B, and Gospel music scenes in Philadelphia. Notably, Ben engineered the hit song "Insecure" and worked on Brian McKnight's album “Genesis,” earning him two NAACP Image and Soul Train Award Nominations.
Ben has collaborated with Lil Uzi Vert, Future, and Nicki Minaj. In 2020, he founded After5 Studios and achieved his first Billboard #1 with ‘Pluto x Baby Pluto.’ He contributed to Justin Bieber’s GRAMMY-nominated “Justice” and Jazmine Sullivan’s GRAMMY-winning ‘Heaux Tales.’ In 2023, he mixed Lil Uzi Vert’s hit ‘Just Wanna Rock’ and the #1 album ‘Pink Tape.’
Ben co-owns nicethingsMUSIC, runs After5 Studios, and is a former Governor of the Philadelphia Recording Academy. He also works on iHeart Radio podcasts and the TV series 'Single and Anxious.'
