Together, they breathe new life into a song idea conceived years ago, transforming it into a fully realized production that seamlessly weaves Memphis' rich musical heritage with modern techniques to craft a powerful song.

Starting with a song they began writing years ago, Matt, Nicki, and the band explain the origins and intention of the song while coming up with a plan of attack during pre-production.

Once the core tracks are recorded live off the floor, Matt calls his favorite string and horn sections to bring the arrangement to life with vibrant, textured layers before diving into the mix.
