The Districts
The Districts are an American rock band originally from Lititz, Pennsylvania.
The group was formed in 2009 while members Rob Grote, Mark Larson, Connor Jacobus, and Braden Lawrence were all still in high school. In 2015, the group's second full-length album, "A Flourish and a Spoil". This album peaked at #7 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and #28 on the Top Independent Albums chart. In August 2017, the band released their third full-length album, "Popular Manipulations". Their latest album "Great American Painting" was released in 2022.

A great master class (simple and complicated at the same time) and the idea of applying parallel compression to the chorus is great. The vocal setup is incredible, very creative and nothing I have seen before.

I love Joe's work.
He is one of my favourite Producer / Engineers, Fabulous track and love the treatment on it. Joe, always gives great insight and depth, as to his approach, his setup and through to recording and mixdown. He is a true master of his craft and so humble to.
Its a great privilege and feels like you are being mentored by the best, as with the access to all these leading lights in the industry.
I shall watch this many times and absorb all that i can.

Nice video. I love this band, but this album is definitely my least favorite. I don't know...Joe is great at what he does, but I think my preference is a little less effects driven than the sound he goes for. Well done video though.
