So funny, lol I use HEAT and it's great, but it's literally off when the knobs are centered.

Wow! So glad they left the Buzz segment in at first it was really annoying. but very cool to see how Jacquire responded. he was obviously annoyed by the persistent problem but pro active in striving toward a solution and reassuring to the band. Great Video!

Quite surprised by the amount of EQ they are using at the recording stage. Fix in the mix doesn't seems to be the rule here but who cares ?

Thumbs up to Rich! I know how hard this can be for a vocalist and I really appreciate that you made it on camera and shared it with us! Thank you 1000 times for that!
P.S. The whole series is great and the song is F.I.R.E.!

Love how you explain the moves you make and the thought processes behind those moves.

That engineer took wayyy too much time on the kick mic before even listening to the rest of the kit.

Would the issue of Nudging be fixed by using DSP in the channel when automating?

I have to be honest. I don't see the point of having the band play together to such a programmed backing. Might it not be better use it to get sounds and then have them play free, including no click, to capture an organic groove. Can edit and time stretch later if necessary, but it might have more feel than just playing the same thing every time
